At FCV International Football Academy, we offer an A-Level program that combines academic studies with professional football training. This two-year course is designed for students aged 16 to 19. In partnership with Loughborough College, students can choose subjects such as PsychologyBusiness, and Sciences. Our program aims to prepare students for success both on and off the football field. It is advised that applications are submitted by April to ensure consideration for enrolment in September.

Football Program

Players train for 15 hours each week under UEFA-qualified coaches, receiving expert guidance in all aspects of the game. Training sessions focus on technical skills, tactical understanding, physical fitness, and match readiness, ensuring players develop their abilities to a high standard. In addition to training, players compete in competitive college football leagues, facing strong opposition from other top academies. Regular league matches on Wednesdays provide invaluable experience, helping players refine their skills in real-game scenarios.

These matches also serve as an opportunity for talented players to gain recognition and progress further within the academy. Exceptional performers may earn a pathway onto our FCV Grace Dieu men’s and U23 teams, or even on trial at professional clubs, offering a direct route to higher-level football. This structured progression allows students to continue their development in a professional environment, increasing their chances of moving professional football.

Education at Loughborough College

Academic classes are held at Loughborough College, known for its sports education and connections to professional sports organisations. The college offers experienced tutors, modern facilities, and a supportive learning environment to help students excel in their studies.

By studying at Loughborough College, students benefit from a structured academic schedule that integrates seamlessly with their football commitments, ensuring they can excel both on the pitch and in the classroom. A-Levels provide a direct pathway to universities across the UK, giving students the qualifications needed to apply for degree programs in subjects such as sports science, business, psychology, and more. Many graduates go on to further their education while continuing to develop their football careers.

Loughborough College has a proud history of producing talented athletes and professionals, with notable alumni including England internationals Jude Bellingham and Ben Chilwell. Their success highlights the college’s reputation for nurturing both academic and athletic potential, providing students with the foundation to achieve success at the highest levels.
